Kendra Parker
Early Life
Kendra Parker grew up in a small, quiet town in Nevada, where not much changed, and everyone seemed to know everyone. She was an only child, raised by her mother after losing her father at the age of three. She doesn’t remember much about him, just fragments told through stories and a few old photos, but his absence shaped the rhythm of her life more than his presence ever could.
Her mother worked hard to provide for her, which meant Kendra learned early to be independent. She stayed out of the way, kept things together, and rarely asked for more than what was given. That kind of upbringing made her observant and careful, and she became someone who thought things through before speaking. She grew into a quiet individual and didn’t demand attention, where she was able to hold steady when things got difficult.

High School
In high school, Kendra found cheerleading as a way to connect to people. In a small town where opportunities were limited, the team became her outlet, a place where effort directly translated into progress. She wasn’t the loudest or most naturally confident, but she showed up every day willing to work, willing to improve, and willing to earn her place.
While other girls thrived on attention, Kendra found comfort in the consistency of it all. She focused on getting the routine right, on supporting her teammates, and on doing her part without needing the recognition. Over time, that reliability became her identity on the team. She wasn’t the star, but she was someone everyone trusted to be exactly where she needed to be.
Crestview University
Coming to Crestview University was the biggest leap Kendra had ever taken. Leaving her small Nevada town for a larger university and a more competitive cheer program was overwhelming at first. The girls were louder, more confident, and far more experienced in high-level competition. For a while, she felt like she was constantly trying to catch up, unsure if she truly belonged in a place that seemed so far removed from where she started.
Academically, she chose to major in Physical Therapy, driven by something deeper than just a career path. Growing up, she had seen her mother push through injuries and exhaustion without ever slowing down, and there had been times when Kendra felt helpless, wishing she knew how to ease that burden even just a little. That feeling stayed with her. Now, she channels it into her studies, determined to be the kind of person who helps others recover, who gives them back strength when they feel like they’ve lost it. It mirrors the way she approaches everything else in her life, steady, patient, and focused on making a difference, even if it’s done quietly.

Befriending Jenna and Simone
Kendra’s friendship with Jenna started with hesitation. After one practice her freshman year, she worked up the nerve to ask Jenna, who was a year older than her, for help with a stunt, expecting a quick correction and nothing more. Instead, Jenna gave her time, attention, and encouragement, something Kendra hadn’t realized she needed as much as she did. From that point on, she began to look up to Jenna not just as the newly appointed captain, but as someone she wanted to be more like.
Simone, on the other hand, didn’t give Kendra the option to stay quiet. She pulled her into conversations, innocently teased her relentlessly, and made her feel included, whether she was ready or not. At first, it was overwhelming, but over time, it became something Kendra relied on. Between Jenna’s guidance and Simone’s energy, Kendra found a sense of belonging she had never really experienced before, and for the first time, she started to come out of her shell, going to parties and finally feeling like she actually belonged.
