Parents
Brian Godwin met Mary Mooney While attending college in Rennington. Brian studied Law while Mary studied Archeology. After 2 years of dating, they were married and moved to an apartment within Rennington. Brian got a job at a law firm in the newly built Burns Tower and quickly moved up the ranks as a successful lawyer.
Mary began her research, looking into ancient civilizations, and eventually focusing on the Goddess of Creation, and the fabled Creator’s Temple.
Four years into their marriage, they had a baby girl, Harper. Because of their busy schedules, they decided to request the help of Mary’s parents, Ronald and Wendy Mooney. The two were ecstatic to be grandparents and leaped at the chance to help raise the little girl.
Four years later, they welcomed another Baby, Zane. Mary and Brian traveled for their work often, Utilizing the tram systems that were newly built. Ronald and Wendy were not fond of Rennington and offered to raise the children in their home in Transtum.
Deaths in the Family
Several years went by, and Mary was now a leading authority in the Creator’s Temple research, retrieving artifacts in Knowles and beyond. Brian was now a Partner of his law firm. On the way home from Rennington, Mary and Brian’s Tram derailed. They died in the accident, leaving Harper and Zane to be raised by their grandparents. Zane was seven, and Harper was twelve.
A few months later, their grandmother passed away from illness. Harper and Zane were now raised by their Grandfather. He encouraged them, as he had for years, to pursue whatever passion they wished. Zane took to magic, to which his grandfather was quite skilled.
Harper, however, took to combat skills and self-defense. She wanted to ensure nothing would harm them in the future.

Practice Makes Perfect
Harper honed her skills for over a decade. Beginning when she was seven years old, With the encouragement of her grandfather, she became a skilled combatant. She took part in competitions and sparring matches, winning trophy after trophy.
She also mastered the skills of self-discipline and meditation. She practiced with a wide assortment of weapons, from daggers to bo staff and swords. When she was eighteen, her grandfather grew very sick. He died after a short battle with the sickness, leaving Harper to now tend to her younger brother.
The Creator’s Temple
Harper Met Marty Evans by sheer accident. After he walked into her, they had a slight confrontation before the two began training with one another. After requesting them to come, Harper and Zane accompanied Marty and his friends as they journeyed to the Creator’s Temple, hoping to fulfill her mother’s dream.
Along the way, She continued to train Marty and the two developed feelings for one another. But upon reaching the Temple and releasing Zin, Zane was killed in the confrontation as Zin was recaptured into her sword prison.
The relationship that could have been was stuck down in Harper’s grief. She had lost her entire family.
College Years
After losing Zane, Harper could no longer stay in the home she had known for so long. She decided to sell the house, and travel to Harthport where she would attend university, although she had no major field of study she was focusing on.
Her and new friend Kalyn Monroe, who despite being a few years younger was also attending the university due to her excellent knowledge of the GPS used around Koringa. The two girls got an apartment together and lived life happily. Kalyn dated and the two went to parties, but Harper was still apprehensive about joining the dating life like her friend.
She was still grief-struck after losing Zane, and missed Marty as well, though she rarely spoke of him, taking instead to hate him and his choice to let Zane come.

The Request.
Kalyn received a call from their friend Fred Shanks who was en route to Harthport. He requested the two girls meet him at a coffee shop in town as he was bringing Marty with him. Harper, who hadn’t seen or spoken to him in two years, joined, more so out of curiosity.
Upon seeing the two boys, Fred disclosed to them their upcoming venture and the possible dangers that would surely follow.
