Dragons
Features
Dragons are huge, powerful creatures with wings that control the skies. Their bodies are covered in tough scales that protect them from most weapons and magic. Many have horns, spikes, or glowing eyes, and their wings can stretch wide enough to block out the sun when flying overhead. Dragons come in different shapes and colors, and no two look exactly the same. They can breathe powerful blasts like fire, ice, lightning, or even strange magical energy.
Habitat
Dragons like to live far away from people. Some live in volcanoes, others in frozen mountains, dense forests, or even underwater caves. They pick places where they feel strongest, and their homes often become more magical just because of their presence.
A dragon’s home is known as its lair. It’s sometimes full of treasure, enchanted items, or things the dragon finds interesting. Most dragons don’t like uninvited visitors and will protect their territory fiercely.

Diet
Dragons can eat almost anything, from meat, plants, and even rocks or crystals They like to hunt big animals and magical creatures, such as unicorns, and they enjoy food that makes them stronger. Some dragons don’t need to eat very often. A single meal might last them years.
They don’t just eat for fun, but rather to grow stronger or prepare for a long sleep. Some dragons go into deep slumber after a big meal and might not wake up for a hundred to a thousand years or more.
Variations
Not all dragons are the same. Some breathe fire and live in hot, rocky places. Others breathe ice and stay in frozen lands. There are dragons made of water deep in the oceans, dragons that live in the clouds, and even ones who seem to glow with light or disappear into thin air. Each type of dragon is connected to its element—like fire, water, air, or earth.
Some dragons are wild and angry, while others are calm and wise. While not common, a few dragons help protect people or guard ancient secrets. Others just want to be left alone.

Mannerisms
Even though dragons are smart, they are truly wild creatures. Most dragons are very territorial. If a creature wanders too close to their lair, the dragon will usually scare it off with loud roars, big flaps of its wings, or by breathing a warning blast of their element. If that doesn’t work, they’ll attack to defend their home.
Dragons are creatures of instinct. They spend a lot of time resting, flying over their land, or hunting for food. Some like to collect shiny things, bones, or strange and unusual objects, building big nests or piles in their lairs. They have hoarding tendencies and prize their collections over anything.
Older dragons can become slower and more set in their routines, spending weeks or months sleeping deep in caves or on mountaintops. Younger dragons are more curious and restless. They might explore, play with prey before eating it, or chase other flying creatures just for fun. But no matter the age, all dragons are powerful, wild, and not to be taken lightly.
