Falcam
Features
Falcam are tall, bipedal creatures that can reach heights of eight feet tall. They have bright scarlet feathers, three-clawed fingers on their hands, and hooves for feet. Their heads are topped with a yellow feather-like headdress. They have beaks filled with razor-sharp teeth, and narrow eyes, with binocular vision. Their limbs are extremely powerful, allowing them to leap high into the air and great distances.
Falcam’s hooves are barbed on the bottom, enabling them to grip sheer cliffs with ease. However, other species of Falcam have been discovered to have winglike arms and grasping feet, making them look much more bird-like. They all can spew jets of fire from their mouths, created deep within their lungs.
Their prime diet consists of smaller animals such as progots, birds and even humans.

Habitat
The Falcam can be found in many mountain ranges throughout Koringa. Their main residence is the mountainside that was named after these creatures; The Falcam Mountains. They usually reside in caves, or along cliffsides in large groups, or flocks.
They use these locations to nest, laying up to ten eggs at a time. Falcam are very territorial and works together to ward off any intruders. They use their talons, beaks, and fire to fight back against anything that might harm them.
Gender Differences
Male Falcam are large beasts, with muscular bodies and arms. They are formidable fighters, with immense strength. Their headdresses are large and long, used to attract mates. The male with the biggest and brightest headdress gets first choice.
The female Falcams are much more slender, and their headdresses are much shorter, reaching no longer than their shoulders.

The Tram Attack
The widely covered attack of a tram transport carrying passengers from Transtum to Drentar has been investigated thoroughly. The tram, which was attacked and derailed by a flock of Falcam during a routine trip, has caused many researchers to question the safety of these creatures and the tram that ventures through their territory.
It is believed that something provoked them, causing them to attack the tram cars violently. The driver was the only fatality in the accident, and many survivors note a young boy with a sword fighting back the creatures, despite them being over half his size.
It is unknown who this boy was, but the tram has been updated with fireproof tracks and cars, and reinforced steel shells on every tram car.
